Computex 2026: Dell’s new XPS laptops and Alienware gaming monitors
Dell’s XPS series is a constant Computex presence, but this year the company is bringing a new variety of laptops to the table, along with a new brand of Alienware gaming monitors, which are aiming at even lower price points, starting at just $299.
Alienware 30th anniversary exhibits
Alienware celebrates its 30th anniversary with four new monitors, including the AW3926QW, the world’s first 39-inch 5K OLED gaming monitor with an RGB-stripe tandem panel. This dell alienware flagship cranks OLED brightness to 1,300 nits with rich blacks and clear lettering. There’s a dual-mode option that allows you choose between 5K at 165Hz and 1080p at 330Hz. Connectivity features DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1 with eARC and USB-C with 90W charging. It’s expected to arrive later this year.
Alienware is also revising its 34-inch QD-OLED ultrawide. The AW3426DW features a brighter penta-tandem panel, improved anti-reflective coating and a higher 280Hz refresh rate, which improves clarity and HDR performance. The AW3426DWM and AW3226DM are additional budget-friendly options for QHD/240Hz gaming beginning at just $299. This dell alienware portfolio caters to both high-end and cheap gamers.
New XPS laptops from Dell
Dell is also launching the 2026 XPS family at the same time as Alienware, with the revised XPS 13, XPS 14 and XPS 16 taking center stage. All three models maintain the brand’s emphasis on excellent CNC-milled aluminum construction, minimalist design, and long battery life. The XPS 13 is our smallest and lightest XPS ever, at 12.7mm and 2.2lbs, and is designed to deliver up to 17 hours of battery life streaming video. The XPS 14 and XPS 16 feature the same design and build but with larger displays and batteries, and deliver up to 31 hours of battery life on Intel Core Ultra 3 versions. Other features include up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM, Arc integrated graphics and PCIe 4 SSDs. The XPS line is a different line, although the Dell Alienware name still dominates the gaming monitor sector.
